Experience
Design
Graduate Student Researcher: UCLA Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance
Responsible for design and implementation of virtual design for an AR/XR live experience. Developed in Unreal Engine, researched new methods of audience interaction and creation of dynamic and interactive live virtual environments.
Design Intern: Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey
Facilitated designers in research, mood boards, illustration and presentation preparation for all projects. Aided in technical support of 3 theatrical productions over the summer in both lighting and scenic design. Designed for the 3 shows in the Spotlight Series training program
Lighting Designer & Programmer: UCLA Herb Albert School of Music
Programmed all shows using ETC EOS software. Designed lights for dozens of shows a month, varying from symphonic concerts to experimental pop groups. Collaborated with musicians and production management to reduce lighting programming/design time by over 50%
Graphic Design Intern: The Robey Theatre Company
Responsible for overhauling and redesigning their company website, as well as their logo, paperwork and other branding items. Designed promotional materials for marketing of upcoming theatrical productions. Created social media graphics and posts for all platforms.
Teaching
Scenic/Lighting Design Teaching Assistant: UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television
Supervised Freshmen undergraduates for both scenic and lighting design labs. Graded design assignments and met with students in office hours to help advise their design homework.

Supported the theater teacher in her first year teaching by handling all paperwork and planning some lessons.

Helped develop curriculum for afterschool programs used throughout the elementary school district.

Prepared students applying to MFA programs in lighting design by designing lessons and reviewing portfolios.

Event Supervisor: UCLA ResLife: Program and Event Management
Supervised teams of up to 8 technicians, managed and coordinated between 3 and 9 events happening in a night. Tracked all over 60 pieces of equipment and repaired any damaged equipment. Met with over 20 student clubs and groups per quarter to plan events from conception to execution.
Executive Director: Untitled Theater Company
Expanded annual season from two main stage shows and two workshops to 3 main stage shows and 5 workshops. Secured necessary funding for execution of theater productions. Scheduled and ran weekly board meetings.
Overhire Electrician: Geffen Playhouse
Functioned as an electrician on 6 shows annually between 2 venues spaces. Hung and focused theatrical lighting instruments in association with lighting designers for a variety of shows. Dealt with challenges arising from difficult scenic designs and got lights focused.
